A Festival of Algae

This event will be held on the 17th-18th November at the Birmingham Science Museum. A welcome dinner will be on the 17th followed by a full day of activities on the 18th – presentations in the morning, followed by 3 parallel sessions: exhibitor demonstrations in one, introducing and discussing a number of algae tools in another and a discussion between scientists and artists to formulate some new projects or concepts in introducing algae to a wider audience and get people thinking about them in different ways in the last.

The draft schedule for the event can be found on the registration page and we will be welcoming posters and requests to exhibit, which you can lodge as you register. However, poster and exhibitor slots are limited so if we become oversubscribed for these we will have to undertake a selection process before we confirm your slot. Registration is free and overnight accommodation for the 17th November will be offered to delegates.
